What a Cove Is

A Cove is where things get built. It's everything a Presence has, plus a full team of specialized agents, business tools, Creation Flows, commerce, and the infrastructure to run a family or a business. Up to 8 Presences can work together inside a single Cove.

If your Presence is your personal life, your Cove is your shared life. Family operations. Business projects. Creative work. Anything that needs more than one person or more than one agent working together.

Every Cove ships with a standardized team of 10 agents. Stuart runs the operation. Nine specialists each own a domain. They learn your patterns, coordinate with each other, and work on your behalf. Same names across the entire ecosystem.

Up to 8 Presences

A Cove holds up to 8 Presences. Family members, team members, trusted collaborators. Each person brings their own agent. Each agent carries its own memory and tuning. Stuart coordinates the shared space. The personal agents handle individual needs.

We recommend starting with 6 and keeping 2 slots in reserve. You'll want room to grow. If you need more than 8, that's when a second Cove makes sense, and they connect through a Haven.

A Presence can belong to multiple Coves. Your mom can be in the family Cove and a church group Cove at the same time. One Presence, many connections. No duplication, no choosing.

How It Runs

Your Cove runs on a dedicated VPS. You choose the location: Iceland through 1984 Hosting for full data sovereignty, or Germany through Hetzner for a budget-friendly alternative. Both are privacy-first jurisdictions. Neither is big tech cloud.

Infrastructure cost is separate from your Cove license and based on the server you choose. You pay the hosting provider directly for exactly what you use. We never mark up infrastructure.

When you're ready for full sovereignty, bring your own hardware. A workstation-class machine with a GPU gives you local fine-tuned models, local voice processing, and zero external dependencies. The system is identical either way. The difference is who owns the metal.

The Marketplace

Every Cove's specialized agents can serve other Coves and standalone Presences. If your Cove has an agent that's particularly good at something, that expertise is available to the network. Build a website for someone who only has a Presence. Design a logo for another Cove. The marketplace is where inter-Cove commerce happens.

This is the long game. Your Cove isn't just a tool. It's a small business. The agents you train and specialize become assets that generate value for the entire ecosystem.
